Day 1: Arrival Yangon & sightseeing
You are warmly welcome to Myanmar, Golden Land! Upon arrival at the Yangon International Airport, you will be greeted by our Panoramic Myanmar representative, guide and transferred to your hotel. After check in at your hotel and Introduction about Yangon City through walking around city centre so as to observe Colonial styled buildings , Sule pagoda , Yangon City Hall , Mahabandola park with Independent monument inside and ways of lives in Yangon city..and then lunch break at good local restaurant. In the afternoon, A visit to Huge Reclining Buddha Image in length of 72 meter, well known as Chauk Htet Gyi Pagoda. After than to visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, the most sacred Pagoda for all Myanmar Buddhist People is a must-do where the rest of evening will be spent to observe all religious activities of Myanmar people. After than transfer back to hotel.
Day 2: Yangon – Mandalay & sightseeing ( By early morning flight via Bagan )
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Mandalay the second largest city in Myanmar. Upon arrival to Mandalay airport, drive straight to Mahagandayon, a famous Buddhist monastery which is situated in Amarapura , 11 km away to the south of Mandalay . then visit to a traditional hand-woven silk workshop before proceeding to Bagaya monastery, a compound with a superb collection of Buddha statues. Then experience the sights and sounds of Mandalay including a major arts and crafts center. A visit to tapestry craftsmen’s shop and marble stone carving before the most revered religious monuments in Myanmar, Mahamuni pagoda. Check in your hotel after that lunch break at local restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing starts with a visit Golden Palace Monastery, which was the remaining original royal apartment of Mandalay Palace, then excursion to Kuthodaw pagoda known as the world’s largest book due to 729 marble slab erected in pagoda compound before proceeding to Mandalay hill to enjoy the panoramic view of Mandalay city during sunset.
Day 3: Excursion Mingun – Sagaing – Ava -Amarapura
After breakfast , transfer to jetty for one hour boat ride to Mingun along upstream Ayeyarwaddy river. Touring around Mingun areas including Mingun pagoda, Unfinished Religious Monument in height of 50 meter. And the world’s largest bell in weight of 90 tons and Hsinbyume Pagoda which is archeologically unique among religious monuments in Myanmar. And then stream down to Mandalay and lunch at local restaurant. Then drive to Inwa jetty to embark for a short boat ride over a river and start exploring the former Royal Capital Inwa (Ava) by horse cart. Visit Maha Aung Mye Bon Zan brick monastery , known as Mae Nu Oak Kyaung, Nan Myint leaning watch Tower the remains of the ancient palace building, Bagayar monastery, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. Continue to Sagaing Hills, a retreat for Buddhist devotees, for sunset viewing. Overnight stay in Mandalay.
Day 4: Mandalay – Bagan ( By RV Pandaw )
A journey on mighty Ayeyarwaddy River which will be once in a life time travel experiences. The river is like life blood of Myanmar people and very indispensable for irrigation . RV Pandaw was powered by a stern paddle, now replaced with model engines. Morning transfer to jetty board on the RV Pandaw for journey along the Ayeyarwaddy river. On the way you will enjoy scenic beauty of nature and way of lives along the river bank and according to in house cruise program you are to visit Yandabo pottery village and night stop on the cruise.
Day 5: On the RV Pandaw cruise to Bagan
Today continue cursing down to Bagan afternoon arrive at Bagan jetty. Then transfer to Hotel . then the most impressive religious monuments will be first introduced to you with a visit to Shwezigon pagoda which is prototype of later Myanmar stupa since 11th century , Wetgyi Inn Gubyaukgyi with fine mural painting, Sulamuni temple for the beautiful plaster carving. After that excursion to Dhammayangyi temple and enjoy the sunset from the secret corner of Ancient religious monument.
Day 6: Bagan Sightseeing
Today you will have thet impression from the beginning of the day from the Dhammarazaka pagoda to enjoy panoramic view of Bagan and different religious monuments built in different architectural styles. Then will explore the local village to see how their living life is and daily work and chatting with local people, participating in their daily life . Afterward learn how to make the Lacquerware which is the main regional products of Bagan. Afternoon the most highlight temple is the Ananda, the masterpiece is architecture with four standing Buddha images in the central core. If time permit, take horse carriage in the small dirt roads where you can get a different viewpoint of the ancient sites to get a real feeling of the desert landscape. This evening you can enjoy a small river cruise on the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River in the sunset time with Run sour. This will provide you with excellent views of the amazing archaeological sites in relax as well as all local people bathing and working along the riverside before sunset.
Day 7: Bagan – Heho – Pindaya ( By morning flight )
After breakfast, transfer to Nyaung Oo airport to fly to Heho. Upon arrival to Heho airport, drive to Pindaya (60 km – 2½ hour) and check in your hotel and lunch break at local restaurant. After lunch will visit Pindaya cave, a unique site housing thousands of Buddha images placed there by devotees and pilgrims over the centuries. Then we will visit the family owned Shan paper umbrella workshop and witness all process of making Shan umbrella by hand in traditional way .Overnight stay in Pindaya.
Day 8: Pindaya – Inle ( By land )
After breakfast , morning excursion to Five day market to see hill tribes in their traditional costumes, all interesting activities of sellers and buyers at five day market.Then excursion to Shwe Inn Dain to the western off shore of the lake by boat along the canal. Shwe Inn Dain is treasure of historical heritage with the one thousand over pagodas on the small hill lock. After that lunch break,. Visit to Silk and Lotus weaving workshop and hand rolled cigar workshop before the sun is completely down then drive back to hotel. Over night stay in hotel in Inle lake.
Day 9: Inle – Heho – Yangon ( By morning light )
In early morning , transfer to jetty from hotel by boat and then drive to Heho airport to fly back to Yangon. . visit Bogyoke Market for the memorable souvenirs that comes from all over the country for your closed friends. And experience the memory recall of colonial time at Strand hotel built in 1896, by drinking Tea, Coffee, Dagon draught beer and overnight stay in Yangon.
Day 10: Yangon – Departure
